Venice and Dolomites Photography Workshop

September 1-9, 2023

Itinerary:

Friday September 1: Venice

  • Arrival in Venice. Check in the hotel and we will have a get to know  and an orientation session.
  • Early dinner will be followed by golden hour and blue hour photography.

Saturday September 2: Venice

  • Very early morning photography (optional) at the famous San Marcos square.
  • This will be followed by a sunrise shoot with the magical gondolas in the foreground.
  • After a leisurely breakfast, we will visit Rialto Fish market , San Polo and Produce Market for street photograph and for taking photos of canal and bridges.
  • Late afternoon -Gondola ride and then take photo of the famous Rialto Bridge. 

Sunday September 3: Passo Rolle and Baita Segantini.

  • Morning shoot at Piazza San Marcos followed by a very relaxed morning till lunch (opportunity for shopping)
  • Check out around noon and will drive north towards the Dolomites.
  • Incredible sunset photoshoot at Passo Rolle and golden hour photography at  the Dolomites
  • Overnight accommodation in Carezza

Monday September 4: Lake Carezza and Lago Misurina

  • Sunrise shoot at Lake Carezza followed by photo editing session till lunch. Around late afternoon we will drive to the beautiful Lago Misurina for a sunset shoot.
  • Overnight at –Lago Misurina

Tuesday September 5: Lago Misurina, Tre Cime di Lavaredo

  • After a morning sunrise shoot and a sumptuous breakfast, we will head to the incredible Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
  • Leisurely hike at the Three Sisters  Peak till sunset.
  • Overnight at Santa Maddalena

Wednesday September 6: Val de Funes and Seceda Ridgeline

  • Morning shoot at Santa Maddalena St. Johan’s Church, Val de Funes.
  • Afternoon we will visit the iconic Seceda Ridgeline.
  • Overnight at Santa Maddalena

Thursday September 7: Alpe di Siusi

  • Sunrise shoot in PassodelleErbe.
  • After lunch, we will head towards the Alpe di Siusiwhich is the highest populated plateau in Europe at an altitude of around 2000m to take photos of wildflowers, streams(long exposure) and rustic huts.
  • Overnight at Lago de Braies

Friday September 8: Lago di Braies

  • Morning sunrise shoot at Lago di Braies, and then explore around the lake. Late afternoon we will say goodbye to Dolomites and will leave for Milan bringing an end to this epic trip.
  • will reach Milan by mid afternoon.
  • You will have an option to either stay at Milan or head back home.

Saturday September 9:

After breakfast we head to the airport for departure.
