Friday, March 21
7am workshop kicks off
AM
- We will meet at Springhill Suites by Mariott Savannah Downtown Historic District, 150 Montgomery Street, Savannah, GA 31401 at 8 am
- Walking tour; explore Savannah’s history (with a professional guide) as we photograph scenic parks and landmarks include Bull St. and Forsyth Park Collins Quarter close to Forsyth
Lunch
PM
- Tour Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah’s most famous and hauntingly beautiful Southern Gothic cemetery along with Wormsloe State Historic Site (formerly Wormsloe Plantation)
Evening
- Golden hour shoot in Savannah for those inclined, dinner
Saturday, March 22
AM
- Hunting Island Boneyard Beach,
- Shoot north beach and Lighthouse, Shorebirds
- Beaufort visit (on the way back) for architecture
- Lunch
PM
- Cypress Wetlands for Nesting Birds (.5 mile boardwalk, birds are close)
- Salty Dog Sunset Cruise at the Port Royal Maritime Center
- Back to Savannah
Sunday, March 23
AM
- Tybee Island sunrise shoot, then tour to Little Tybee (Crab Creek Charters does this)
- Shoot pier, lighthouse
Back to SAV for lunch and end of workshop
