Join us to immortalize the Rockies’ icy splendor!

Oct 18, Day 1: Lake Louise
We will meet in Lake Louise. You can arrange a shuttle from Calgary Airport. You’d fly in the day before to Calgary. There are available shuttles from Calgary Airport to Lake Louise. We can provide information and links. After we check in at Lake Louise Inn, we will start heading out for our first sunset shoot and then we will return for our first dinner.
Oct 19, Day 2: Canadian Rockies
The schedule in the Canadian Rockies at this time of year for landscape photographers is a dream. Sunrise is just before 9 am and sunset is at 5 pm. That means we have lots of time after our sunset shoot to have dinner, relax and get ready for the next day. You will most likely have time to enjoy the hot tub and pool in the hotel as well! As far as what we will shoot, there will be a sunrise and sunset at the very least!
Oct 20, Day 3 & Day 4 Spend the entire day driving around chasing light
At this point you’ll have a great idea of how the schedule works. We will always head out at the very least 2-3 hours before sunset on each day. Sometimes we only get an hour break between sunset and sunrise. We need enough time to get ready and look for compelling compositions. Canadian Rockies at this time of year are magical. Beautiful light can hug the mountains at any time of day since the sun is relatively low near the horizon throughout the day. You’ll be briefed on exactly what time to be ready in the lobby each morning and afternoon. We might spend the entire day driving around chasing light. So be ready for lots of adventures!
